Chester Grosvenor Round Table
Chester Round Table have been organising the raft race since 2022. As a group, we've been in the city for over 90 years, giving back to the community.
As a group, our aim is to improve the lives of men in Chester aged 18-45 who want to meet new people, make friends and do great things in our city. We're also known for our annual "Santa Float" every December, and the Easter egg hunt in Vicars Cross every April.
1975 - 2022, Chester Rotary
Rotary Club of Chester started the annual raft race back in 1975, and ran it every year until covid19 forced the cancellation of the event. When it was possible to restart the event, the club passed the organisation of the race to Chester Grosvenor Round Table.
